Smoky Mountain Jet Boats www.needmore.com is the tour operation that has been doing thrilling jet boat rides on Lake Fontana outside the Smoky Mountain National Park.  By operating a tour boat ourselves we understand what abuse commercial water sports boats must withstand.

When you purchase a boat from you don’t just get a boat – you get training, marketing advice and help with the regulations.

A few of the places that are operating our boats are: Portugal,  Key West,  and Broadway at the Beach, Myrtle Beach SC.

Smoky Mountain Jet Boats prides itself of the highest craftsmanship.  Both our recreational and commercial boats abide by the rigors standards set out by the AYBC (American Yacht and Boat Council) and the US Coast Guard.

By using the most up to date jet units by either DOEN Water Jet 100G or CWF Hamilton’s 212 or 213 pump in combination with a maranized GM Engine we can travel In less than 4 inches of water and spin with in it’s own length.  We are constantly striving to be on the leading edge of the jet boating world.

New for 2012 we will be offering a 24 seater twin diesel with a 15 degree bottom  that is off to the Turks Caicos and a gas  24 seater with a 10 degree bottom to Cruise Naples Florida.   Call us for more information.

For the 2012 season we are constructing a re design of our 12  – water tight engine bay coupled with individual seats.  The design exceeds the 2011 standards for the USCG/ABS high speed craft of up to 65 feet.

Boats will be delivered this spring for Malta, Portugal, Galveston Texas and second boat for Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach SC.

We have received training from builders and drivers in New Zealand.  James Tazwell of Rapids Jet Taupo has been a great mentor. www.rapidsjet.com.  We also keep an eye on what Shotover Jet www.shotoverjet.co.nz , Kawaru Jet  KJET.co.nz Huka Jet  and the boats in the Sidney Harbor are doing to keep abreast what the largest operators are up to.
